Leadership is important

Our Surgeons are among the best in their fields

Scottish Hernia Centre Consultant Surgeon Richard Molloy offers a comprehensive outpatient & inpatient service from diagnosis through to surgery for all patients experiencing hernia symptoms.

Research also shows that the best operation results, the quickest recovery to full activity and the lowest rates of recurrence are found in specialised hernia clinics.

With traditional surgical methods, up to 10% of hernias can recur after surgery. However, with modern techniques and in the experienced hands, recurrence rates of less than 1% can be expected.

At the Scottish Hernia Centre, we are experienced in all types of hernia repair surgery. We are committed to using the latest surgical techniques including conventional and laparoscopic repair of inguinal, incisional and recurrent hernias in order to ensure less pain, rapid recovery and very low recurrence rates. Our surgeons are supported by nursing staff dedicated to providing the highest standards of care.
